This class will discuss the history of perfume and how musical metaphors are used to describe the three types of notes that make the fragrance accord. The differences between Perfume, Eau de Toilette and Cologne will be reviewed and it will be explained why most perfumes use an alcohol base while others use an oil base. Participants will be shown how to blend their own custom fragrance using 98 different scents and will each go home with a ¼ ounce spray of their own custom 
