2014 Men’s Winter
Basketball Leagues Our men’s basketball league is for players who want to participate in a traditional open-paced league. Each team plays a 10-game regular season on Monday or Tuesday nights followed by a single-elimination tournament. League play is governed by I.H.S.A. rules and regulations with local exceptions adopted.
To be considered as a resident team, 60% of team members must pay taxes to the Park District or be employed in Downers Grove. Players must submit copies of their driver’s license or employment pay stub of a company within Park District boundaries. At the time of registration a $100 deposit is due, as well as, a preliminary team roster, including names and addresses of all team members.
Teams may register at the Recreation Center on a first-come, first-served basis until all slots are filled. Roster forms are available online at

Resident Teams may register beginning Saturday, October 12, at 9:00 a.m.
Non-resident Teams may register beginning Saturday, October 26 at 9:00 a.m.
Mandatory Captain’s Meeting: Monday, January 13, at 7:00 p.m., at the Recreation Center, 4500 Belmont Road, Downers Grove, IL 60515.

Adult Flag Football League
Think you’ve got what it takes? Find out in our fall 2013 Adult Flag Football League. This 7v7 format league will last eight weeks with a single elimination playoff to crown a champion.
Registration is taken on a first-come, first-served basis until all slots are filled. A $100 deposit and a preliminary roster (including all team members’ names and addresses) are due at the time of registration. A copy of each players driver’s license is required if they are claiming residency status.
The deadline to register is Wednesday, September 4 at 9:00 a.m.

Looking for a little friendly competition? Get your friends together and hit the court. This self-paced program is ideal for a wide range of participants and provides an excellent combination of fun and exercise. Players participate in a shoot around followed by pickup style games. School gymnasium schedule was not available prior to printing. Please expect minor schedule changes. No class November 27.
