Youth Magic Class


Children are guaranteed to have a great time as they learn a collection of fascinating and mesmerizing tricks. Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading and more! Children are grouped by age and learn tricks that are age-appropriate. Brand new tricks are always taught at each session! All materials are provided. Each child receives a magic kit to take home. 

Digital Photos - Click It or Miss It Photography Class


Taking great pictures is easy and fun when you’re exposed to the basics! Learn camera operation, do’s and don’ts, how’s and why’s. Practice taking shots using learned techniques and props to set up your own photo shoot. Take awesome shots to fool the eye and amaze your friends! Bring your camera (digital is best) with film or memory card and extra batteries. Those with a camera with menu options will benefit even more. Certificates and stickers are awarded at the end of class. 

“Kids in Charge” is a workshop for parents and their 4th and 5th graders. This program focuses on developing the fundamentals of staying home alone and is co-sponsored by the Downers Grove Police and Fire Departments and the Downers Grove Park District. A special session just for the “Kids In Charge” includes home security, fire safety and basic first aid. Parents meet as a separate group to cover the same information and learn how to determine if their children can care for themselves and/or others. Registration is limited to 60 families. Parents must accompany their children. 

Parent & Me Creative Reindeer or Snowman Friend


Calling all parents! Ultimate Classes & Parties has found the most adorable reindeer and snowmen for you and your child to create. Each participant will stuff his/her own reindeer and snowmen, add a star to make a wish, decorate it, and provide a blanket for your “new” friend. Birth certificate is also provided. This class is especially designed for parents and their children. 
