The group is open to any high school student who is looking to strengthen leadership and communication skills by planning trips, concerts, service projects and events for other high school students. ACT Practice Test
A practice test is crucial to ward off those test day jitters and predict how you may score on the real thing. Experience first-hand what test day is like. A representative from Kaplan will provide a proctored ACT practice test and scores will be returned to each student individually with analyzed results. Please bring a healthy snack and a drink, #2 sharpened pencils and a calculator. Wear comfortable clothing. Cell phones will not be

NEW! Nutrition 101 for Teens
Have you ever wondered how much sugar is in your favorite drink? What about how many vitamins and minerals you need to stay healthy? How much sleep do you need each night? And what are some fun and nutritious on-the-go snacks? Learn all of this and more during this six-week class! Additional topics include: how to read a Nutrition Facts label, healthy food for picky eaters, fun ways to exercise, and daily value for calories and other nutrients. There will be a cooking demonstration and class participation during the sixth week. Note: participants will be emailed prior to the beginning of the class asking for 1-2 questions regarding nutrition, food safety, health, cooking etc. to be submitted to the instructor. No Class November 27.
