Carol Sterratt and her Jay Cee Liners of Camborne in Cornwall love to dress up and they have had a busy year so far! “This year we have held a Jubilee event, an Olympic event and more recently we had a super evening with top entertainer Alan Gregory. Jay Cee Juniors gave a brilliant display during the interval and had a standing ovation. In the picture are, top row: Regan, Peter and Alan, bottom row: Jessica and Abilgail. We have lots more planned for the rest of the year so watch this space.”
Coffee and Moonlight Cha, to Gambling Man and 50 Way’s, all DJ’d by Tony. At midnight the last dancers left the floor. A wonderful fun way to raise much needed funds for these charities.

Cathy Does It Again Cathy Hodgson, Ambassador for the
Line Dance Foundation, recently held a fundraising event in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Funds were raised for the LDF and Harrogate Mind. “With it being very local to me, I thought that I would call in to the Harrogate Mind office to give the cheque in personally. When I got there, Chris Raddings and some of the Harrogate Mind clients that had come to the event were there and were chuffed to bits with the amount of money we raised, and they gave a round of applause. I even proposed coming through to their office and teaching them some basic Line dancing which they were all excited about. I think Chris was quite overwhelmed with the amount of money we raised.”
