William Chase established the Tyrrells brand in the 90s and turned it into a £40m premium brand which he then sold the majority of to build Williams Chase Distillery in 2008. The potato vodka – Chase Vodka – has just been awarded the World’s Best Vodka and a Double Gold Medal in the most respected spirits awards, out of 247 vodkas from 57 different countries worldwide.

In 1993 Tony Goodwin spotted the potential of the new professional employment markets in the former Warsaw Pact countries; he set up his own business with an office in Budapest in Hungary and named the company Antal – Hungarian for ‘Tony’. In 2001 Tony and his board decided they had the proven success to franchise the business. Tony has completed and published a book ‘How They Blew It’ in July 2010 and was awarded a prize at the Ernst & Young London & South Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2010 and 2011
