PeoPle in the news ACD Promotes Fenley to Design Mgr.


Richardson, TX —ACD, an EMS provider, has promoted Noah Fenley to Design Manager. Noah has been with the company since 2000 and plays a vital role in helping ACD provide world-class PCB design layout. In his new role, Noah will oversee ACD’s team of professional PCB designers to support customer prod- ucts. He will manage the CAM department and all related services, and partic- ipate in management level tasks. In addition, Noah will develop third-party channels to support outsourcing of design-related tasks, support the develop- ment of departmental ISO procedures and adhere to all ISO procedures compa- ny-wide pertaining to the department. Brooks Automation Names Morelli COO


Chelmsford, MA — Brooks Automation, Inc. (Nasdaq: BRKS) has appointed Mark D. Morelli to executive vice-president, chief operating officer. Morelli will have responsibility for all of the company’s business units including Brooks Product Solutions, Brooks Global Services, Brooks Life Science Sys- tems as well as Global Operations and Global Sales. Morelli most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Energy Conversion Devices, a public com- pany that provides integrated solar-based solutions. Prior to ECD, he spent 15 years at United Technologies Corporation.


Ellsworth Adhesives Makes Three ¸ RoHS


Management Moves Germantown, WI — Ellsworth Adhesives has promoted three distinguished leaders within the corporation: Roger Lee has been promoted to Vice Presi- dent and General Manager, Specialty Chemicals Division; Jay Richardson has been appointed to Director of Sales — Engineering Sales Representative (ESR) Group; and Andre Rivard has been named Eastern Region General Sales Manager. Roger Lee previously served as President of the ESR Group. Jay Richardson formerly served as General Sales Manager to the ESRs in Canada and the Eastern United States. Replacing Richardson as Eastern Re- gion General Sales Manager is Andre Rivard, who has served as a very suc- cessful ESR for the company’s for the past four years.


Marshall Joins Etek Europe


South Ayrshire, Scotland — Etek Europe has been joined by Peter Marshall as Business Development Manager. He comes to Etek with more than 30 years of experience in SMT Assembly equipment products and services. He had been Managing Director of Surf Systems where he designed and built a leading range of Vapor Phase and IR/Convection Reflow systems. At DEK Printing Machines, set up DEK Albany, a used equipment division and then became European Business Manager to develop and integrate Screen and Stencils and promote process consumables. In recent years through his com- pany Process Support Products he has supported leading suppliers of Stencil Cleaners, AOI and Selective Soldering systems.


Ryden Now Juki Dir. of Marketing


Morrisville, NC — Juki Automation Systems has promoted Geron Ryden to Director of Marketing. In this position, he will oversee marketing and promo- tional activities for Juki in the Americas. Geron previously served as Market- ing Manager at Juki. Geron Ryden is responsible for marketing direction at JAS, Inc. working to promote Juki as a global leader in the SMT placement field. He has almost 20 years of electronics industry experience in engineer- ing, sales administration and marketing. Pandit Becomes President of


Panasonic Factory Solutions Rolling Meadows, IL — Panasonic Corporation of North America has named M. Faisal Pandit President of Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of Amer- ica (PFSA). Pandit assumed leadership on January 1, 2012 after holding sev- eral positions within Factory Solutions over his 20 years with the company. Pandit’s experience includes equity analysis in the technology sector and


a long stint in the electronics manufacturing industry in various business and product development roles including 5 years with PFSA as the head of the Global Systems Group. He holds a BS from the University of Illinois, MS from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. (See at IPC/APEX Booth #2829.)


TTI Names Sink as VP, Total Quality


Fort Worth, TX — TTI, Inc. has promoted Kevin Sink to the position of Vice President, Total Quality. Sink had been in the position of Director Total Qual- ity since 2010. Sink holds a degree in business management and an MBA from Texas A&M University and is celebrating his 19th year with TTI. During his tenure he has held positions as inside sales representative, product manager and sales manager and has received multiple top performance recognition awards.
