AdvertisingAge has named CND’s Shellac as one ofAmerica’s hottest brands. The power polish appears on the list which also includes iconic brands like SodaStream,My Little Pony and HTC.


Commenting on Shellac, the article said: “At a time when nail polish is being hailed as the new lipstick and sales of the product are growing faster than those of its recession- indicating predecessor,Vista, Calif.-based CND has revolutionized the market with its chip- and dull-proof Shellac Power Polish.”


It also quoted CND co-founder and style director JanArnold: "Shellac has been a rocket for both CND and nail professionals because it has brought more women who didn't find value in paying for basic polish manicures back into the salon.”

The likes of Jelna Jankovi and CarolineWozniacki reportedly visited the nail bar in the two days it was there.


The players were reported to have loved getting their nails polished with colours thatmatched their outfits, shoes and even racket.Themost popular shades were No Roomfor the Blues, Purple with a Purpose, Charged Up Cherry and Over theTaupe.
