Historians of the Future Club

The Museum presents a monthly club for kids who are truly interested in history and the museum world. Kids develop a greater appreciation for history and learn how to apply that knowledge by building leadership and life-long learning skills. Participate in a variety of activities: working with artifacts, learning about the significance of museums, historic research and presentations, docent training, book discussions and planning, designing and installing a museum exhibit. Topics will also be determined by the members’ interests. Some work may be done outside of the regularly scheduled meetings and additional meetings may be held depending on project demands.
