Both competitive and fun, students compete against other golfers from area schools. The first Friday is 1½ hours of instruction from our two golf professionals on the driving range, and the last three meeting are 3 rounds of golf in a “scramble” format on the course. Group golf lessons offer golfers instruction in a more fun atmosphere on the basics of the golf swing, golf etiquette and putting. Whether it’s a couple, a family or a small group, we can provide everyone with the tools needed to improve every facet of their game. Fee includes practice balls and four 1-hour sessions. Attendance at all sessions is encouraged, as make-up sessions are not available. Participants are required to bring their own clubs. Age:

This prestigious tournament is for males ages 18 and older. Over 100 participants play each year in a 9-hole, stroke play format. Prizes are awarded for low gross, long drive, long putt, etc. Class #

Learn the great game of golf with your child. Classes accommodate all levels of golfing experience. Topics covered include grip, stance, swing, club selection, ball striking and basic etiquette and rules. Concepts covered include putting, irons, sand play and woods. After the Golf Club closes for the season and the snow starts falling, unsupervised cross country skiing is welcomed and allowed on the course with no charge to the participant. The Downers Grove Golf Club is a perfect setting for the cross country skiing enthusiast. As long as there is at least 3 inches of snow on the ground skiers are more than welcome to come to the course during daylight hours. We also ask that you stay off the greens.
