Spanish Language Lessons

Pre-elementary students build Spanish skills in a full immersion, play-based setting! Our fun-filled line-up includes learning topics such as: Clowning Around (focus: counting and colors), On Safari (focus: animals), Head to Toe (focus: active verbs), Toybox (focus: playtime toys and games), and more! Each unit focuses on targeted vocabulary list, reinforced through lively songs, games and activities, presented entirely in Spanish. For example, in our Clowning Around unit, children will learn both counting and colors as they sing, dance, juggle and play their way through the circus. We build upon this foundational vocabulary, adding simple grammatical structures such as “to be” (The clown’s nose is RED), and “to have” (He has FOUR balls). We begin and end each lesson with additional songs and activities to reinforce conversational basics such as greetings, introductions, and leave takings.
