Volunteer coaches introduce the fundamentals of playing soccer through weekly practices and an eight-match schedule that emphasizes proper techniques, knowledge of rules, team strategy and participation. Please bring a soccer ball to practice.
The Park District soccer league relies on a volunteer coaching system and every team must have a coach. Anyone interested in coaching should contact the park district at 630.960.7250.
Spring Youth Soccer League Team Assignment Note
Teams are created according to the following criteria: 1) School attended 2) Grade 3) Balance of gender 4) Roster size 5) Reciprocal friendship request
In general, our goal is to keep players from the same school on the same team. Should enrollment numbers and roster maximums not accommodate this practice, schools may be combined to form teams. Team maximums are based on enrollment numbers at the time of the registration deadline. No games May 26. Game Sites: Game Dates:

Carefully review the registration procedures as there have been some changes. Payment and a signed waiver must be submitted with the registration form.
Mail-in, drop-off and online registration begins Monday, January 23. New teams are formed each season. Returning players are not guaranteed the same team from season to season. To be eligible for the Early Registration Fee, registration forms must be received by Monday, February 13. After this date, the Regular Registration Fee will be charged. The deadline for all registrations is Monday, March 12.

irls and boys in grades 5 through 9 can get in the game with our summer league! The league consists of two weeks of practice followed by seven weeks of games with an emphasis on game play, participation and fun. Grades are based on the 2011-2012 school year.
