The historic Downers Grove Golf Club, now a 9-hole par-36 course, was established in 1892 by legendary golf figure Charles Blair Macdonald. With four sets of tees, this scenic course offers a challenging, yet playable, golf experience for all skill levels. Yardages for the par-36 course range from 3,280 from the back tees to 2,515 from the forward tees. The course is open to all golf enthusiasts thirteen years of age or older. Younger golfers ages eight to twelve are welcome to play on a daily basis when accompanied by an adult. For safety considerations, we do not allow non players on the course.

Greens Fees and Golf Carts
Accentuated with a large practice putting green, sand trap and chipping area, the 24 permanent and turf hitting stations allow golfers of all abilities to perfect every aspect of their game. Group Golf Outings
The Downers Grove Golf Club is the perfect place to hold your company or charity golf outing. The golf course holds over 30 outings a year and provides the best 9-hole course atmosphere around. Food & Beverage
Stop in after your round or bucket and enjoy the view of the course from our 900 sq. ft. clubhouse. Relax and choose from our menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, rib sandwiches, snacks, coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine. You can also enjoy the news or games on our two 42" televisions.
Gift Cards
The Downers Grove Golf Club offers gift cards for all activities, services and products offered at the course. Gift cards may be purchased in any amount during the golf season at the clubhouse. Call 630.963.1308 for details.

The Downers Grove Golf Club offers a park-like setting and a scenic panorama for social gatherings, group meetings or corporate functions year round. The main room of the clubhouse can accommodate groups from 60 - 80 people. The south room can accommodate up to 30 people. A 20' x 20' tent is also available to rent for your special event. Beverage service is provided exclusively through the Golf Club. A three-hour minimum is required.
Approved recognized organizations and Downers Grove Park District residents receive a 10% discount on hourly rental fees during non-premium hours Monday through Thursday.
