Preschool/Early Childhood TThreeSchool 2012 - 2013 hreeSchool is designed for those children who miss the September 1 preschool program deadline. Like the Lincoln Learning
Center Preschool, ThreeSchool activities are created to enhance the whole child - creatively, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. Most importantly for early learners, independence and socialization skills are emphasized. Weekly themes, creative expression, circle time and large and fine motor skill development help your child get ready for preschool. Class structure is consistent with the continuing 3- and 4/5-year-old preschool program. Each class has two teachers. ThreeSchool participants receive priority registration for three-year-old Preschool. A detailed manual and information forms are available upon registration. ThreeSchool Orientation Night, held one week prior to the start of the program, allows parents to meet teachers and learn details of the program.
Optional Three-Day Program Now parents can choose to add a third day of ThreeSchool to their child’s schedule. The additional Friday class is based on a first-come, first-served basis. A maximum of fifteen children can be accommodated on Friday. Please refer to the class schedule for the additional Friday dates and tuition.
ThreeSchool Registration Criteria 1. Registration must be done in person at Lincoln Center registration office, 935 Maple Avenue or Recreation Center, 4500 Belmont Rd.
2. Child’s age must be verified by attaching a copy of a birth or baptismal certificate to your registration form. No other forms of age verification are accepted.
3. Submit a $50 deposit check payable to the Downers Grove Park District. (non- refundable)
4. Children must turn 3 years of age between September 2 and December 31, 2012.
5. Children may be in Pull- Ups™ and should be on their way to taking care of their own toileting needs.
6. Applications are not processed without complete and accurate age verification.
We’ve Got Spirit Cheer Team
Siblings of students currently enrolled in ThreeSchool and Preschool can begin registering on Monday, January 9, 2012 - 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 14. A random selection for class time placements will take place on Monday, January 16. New residents may begin registering on Monday, January 16 - 12:00 pm on Saturday January, 21. A random selection for class time placements will take place on Monday, January 23. Beginning Tuesday, January 24 both residents and non-residents may register for remaining class openings on a first come, first-served basis.

These super fun, energy charged classes will have your athlete cheering! Jumps, kicks and proper cheer body motions improve flexibility and coordination. Appropriate stunting and a variety of cheers, that change each session, develop strength and endurance, while group participation, pom usage and sign making complete a realistic Cheer Team experience that prepares for our Parent/Sibling Pep Rally!
