Early Learner Piano Lessons
Introduce your 4½- to 5-year-old to the piano. Finger numbering techniques and notation are used to teach students to perform pieces from the John W. Schaum Piano Series and tunes arranged by the instructor. The 25-minute class sessions are designed to hold the attention of young learners. A piano or keyboard for home practice is recommended.
Students may register for one slot in each session unless private lessons (available at an additional fee) are requested. Please call the registration office at 630.963.1300 for information.
John W. Schaum Piano Series lesson books are sold in the Registration Office for $7 per book. Age:

Music Recital
Family and friends can enjoy the music students’ performances at recitals scheduled at Lincoln Center between 5:30 and 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 7.
Music Together with Tiny Toes MusicAge:
This internationally acclaimed, research based program utilizes mixed-age classes to foster natural family – style learning. Infants and toddlers enjoy watching and imitating older children, preschoolers learn by leading younger ones, and adults are happy because the children in the family can go into class together! Each child participates at his or her own developmental level in signing, moving, chanting, listening, observing, exploring, and playing musical instruments. Come sing and dance to the music of the Bells (January) and Triangle (March) collections. Registration includes 2 CDs, a new songbook each semester, Parent’s guide, and Musical Growth Chart. Infant siblings under 8 months may attend for free and any caregiver (parent, nanny, or grandparent) can participate in this family music experience. Siblings must be registered to attend class.
