Having fallen down the slippery slope of leggings and T-shirts, our fashion editor Justine helps Jessica get her style back. Here’s her advice on incorporating something new into your existing wardrobe...


Evaluate your figure Although Jessica confessed she’s starting Zumba classes as part of her new ‘me time’ regime, she admits she needs to tone up. This wrap-style dress flatters her curves and the soft sheer sleeves are ideal for any upper arm issues.


Go for gold Head down to the high street – Accessorize and Topshop have on-trend pieces that won’t cost the earth – and buy a stash of gold costume jewellery. Although out of fashion for years, gold is making a huge comeback of late. The key is ‘more is more’, so pile it all on and excess-orise!


Update your favourites Animal print is a great way to update a classic pair of tailored trousers. It also works really well with black skinny jeans and a blazer too. Jessica can wear it with her favourite heels – or even treat herself to a new pair.

Browse the stores Steal a couple of hours off from being Mum and head to the high street. Don’t buy anything, just look. See what styles appeal to you and try on items you might not normally consider. When you get home, have a good honest look through your wardrobe and see what you have that could be updated.
