MTM Power highlights the strength of the power converters they have developed for industrial and rail applications.

Stand C61 M

TM Power has developed DC/DC converters with 30 – 650 W which are especially designed for vehicle and railway applications and are also available accredited to NFF 16 101 and NFF 16 102, Level F1I2.

Kontron, the global leader in Embedded Computing Technology (ECT), shows off its CompactPCI® computing platforms.

Stand D42 -based train

Especially for the sophisticated use in trains, these devices sup- ply the electric and electronic systems on board. MTM Power’s multi-power supply systems MPG are available with 500 – 3000 W. They are exceptionally powerful, resistant and durable.

T

he OBSERVO Rugged RAID Data Server is aimed at railroad applications, such as platform edge observation and recording in local trains for van- dalism. Its high performing RAID controller supports data integrity RAID 0, 1, 5, 10.

The 3U 19” CPCI rack is fl exibly confi gurable with Kontron’s rail- compliant embedded modules, ranging from CPU, storage and Ethernet switching, through sys- tem management modules, to an EN50155-compliant plug-in

power supply. The INTERPARLO Internet-on-Train Server is well suited for passenger infotain- ment, supporting wireless com- munication by UMTS, GPS 3G and WIFI.

For streaming applications such as real-time transmission of me- dia data for passenger informa- tion, two separate controllers pro- vide the respective performance and mass storage.

Furthermore, MTM Power of- fers in its program the AC/DC modules (5 W to 100 W), AC/DC modules for IP67 applications (50 W to 200 W), AC/DC modules for medical applications (15 W to 100 W), DIN rail power supplies (15 W to 120 W), DC/DC converters (1.5 W to 650 W) and 19” power sup- plies (up to 100 W).

Top product quality and total customer care are the keys to the company’s continuing success. Every single product is individual- ly tested before being put on sale. With a works failure rate of a mere 0.01 %, the benefi ts of continuous quality control are clear. Moreo- ver, MTM Power has its own ex- perienced design team. Whether it’s a special tailor-made order or a new product, customers can be sure that the company’s engineers and technicians will come up with

the perfect solution.

MTM Power’s unique thermose- lective vacuum encapsulation with power modules is an impres- sive example of the company’s advanced design capabilities. It offers total resistance to dust and moisture, cuts down on size, im- proves shock and vibration ab- sorption, has a wide temperature range and is extremely durable.

MTM Power products meet all relevant standards and fulfi l VDE/EN regulations if applicable. Large-scale testing and examina- tion, including burn-ins, guaran- tee the MTM Power quality and reliability.
