Checkout Mamut’s new software
POS package can integrate an online store and export to software like Excel
BUSINESS SOFTWARE specialist Mamut has released a new point-of-sale software package for Mac users, designed especially with the smaller retailer in mind. Checkout features drag and drop and
instant search options, letting members of staff ring up sales quickly and easily. Retailers can order stock, print
barcode labels and analyse what their fastest and slowest moving products are, all using the one application. Checkout can keep track of clients’ orders and their history, create quotes and convert them into orders.
All transactions are recorded automatically and can be exported to various business software packages including Microsoft Excel and Mamut AccountEdge. Additional features include integration of web stores, inventory check, receipt printing and customisable invoices. For a complete solution, Apple
exclusively stocks the Mamut Checkout POS Kit, which contains the Checkout software, a thermal printer, a USB scanner, a cash drawer and Mamut’s AccountEdge software.
