CCI adds a plethora of new brands

CCI DISTRIBUTION has recently introduced six new brands and a tablet PC to its portfolio. “The new brand additions are a culmination of almost a year’s worth of intensive market research, due diligence and product testing,” said operations director Nick Preston. “We’ve picked some great products from genuine, strong brands that really complement our existing portfolio and bring something new to the UK market. They also offer resellers superior margin

the existing Storage Options brand, exclusive to CCI. It features a seven-inch resistive touchscreen, integrated webcam, built-in wi-fi, and a microSD card expansion slot. Two USB ports and an HDMI output provide multiple connection options. A dual core ARM 11 processor allows


for 1080p HD video playback and 3D gaming. The device runs the Android 2.1 operating system, allowing users to purchase applications via Google’s Android Marketplace. Meanwhile, CCI has also snapped up


further new products, including projectors from audiovisual firm Aiptek and HD Media players from Storex. “Working with its vendor partners, CCI is constantly looking for new technologies, opportunities and brands to broaden its product offering to capitalise on new and changing market opportunities. These launches are the tip of the iceberg in terms of invigorating our portfolio; expect to see much more from us in 2011,” said Preston. Other recent signings for the


distributor include laptop accessories brand Dicota, networking firms Intellinet and CradlePoint, and screen cleaner manufacturer Muc-Off.
