Arctic unveils new audio duo New speakers and DJ headphones aim to produce high-quality sound

“Multiple audio inputs make the system suitable for using with a PC and devices such as TVs, DVD players and stereos.”

ARCTIC SOUND has launched two new audio products, both available now through distributor EntaTech. The S361 is Arctic’s first set of four

2.1 speakers. It includes a compact 40W RMS subwoofer and 18W RMS satellites, which promise rich bass and clear trebles for any genre of music. A wired remote control pod gives

users easy access to controls such as volume and audio preferences, as well as secondary inputs, microphone, headphone and AUX sockets. Multiple audio inputs make the

system suitable for using with a PC and devices such as TVs, DVD players and stereos.

The design is minimalistic with a matt

finish, and the AC-powered speakers are simple to set up and install. Arctic’s other recent launch is the

P281 – a DJ headset designed to combine style with professional quality. It contains highly sensitive 50mm drivers and high-level noise isolation to accurately reproduce sounds in a noisy environment. The adjustable padded headband has a leather lining and soft cushions on the earcups, providing a secure fit and allowing the headphones to rest comfortably over the user’s ears. Netted nylon on the underside of the headband provides sweat absorption – apparently ideal for pro DJs. Meanwhile, a 90-degree swivel

mechanism on both earcups creates high flexibility for single-sided monitoring. Its folding design makes the P281 easy to store, while

the coiled cable provides added flexibility. Finally, the headset sports a 3.5mm gold-plated jack and comes equipped with a 6.3mm adaptor.
