Mark Harman, 25 Sales Manager, Panda Security UK Since joining Panda as a telesales executive in 2007, Harman has been promoted twice and now heads up the UK sales team, managing and expanding Panda’s dedicated reseller partners. Senior colleagues say Harman is “passionate and professional, whether pitching to a new client or managing the sales team around him.”
17. Lianne Johnson, 26 Retail Sales Account Manager, Kaspersky Lab UK Johnson is regarded by her colleagues as a valuable team member who is always willing to assist beyond the scope of her role. Having joined the firm seven years ago, she now manages strategic retail accounts. “We all enjoy working with her,” her nominator said, adding that Johnson’s clients are always delighted by her.
18. Mark Johnston, 29 Group Marketing Manager – Technical Audience, Microsoft Johnston joined Microsoft as a graduate and has become one of its highest performing young managers. He oversees the firm’s audience marketing managers and over the past two years has contributed to revenue growth in his key audience of 137 per cent. He has also supported two colleagues through their Chartered Institute of Marketing exams and degree finals.
19. Imran Khan, 27 National Distribution Manager, Trust UK Khan joined Trust as a postgraduate with substantial channel experience, having worked with resellers, distributors and vendors. He now manages the distribution and direct channels for the UK office and leads a team of five account managers. His nominator told PCR he is “a great communicator and a real team player”.

Mark Mills, 29 Distribution Manager, Cherry After starting at Cherry less than five years ago, Mills has taken on responsibility for growing the firm’s computer input device and switches and controls categories. Mills, who recently passed his MBA with flying colours, was described as “dedicated, hard working and ambitious” and “a nice bloke with big ideas”.

Muscat has been with Wacom since January 2010, and in that time has already increased sales with existing customers and introduced the brand to a more diverse customer base, reaching new sales records in his category. He was described in his nomination as “an extremely motivated individual” who “ensures results are delivered”.

Alex Palin, 24 Assistant Category Manager for Data Storage, Dixons Retail Palin is responsible for purchasing products including external hard drives and USB storage, as well as delivering strategic plans on how to grow the business. He was commended in his nomination for his strong business acumen. “He shows great enthusiasm for the role and industry, and always strives to deliver his best,” a senior colleague said.

23. Gary Read, 28 Territory Business Manager DMR – Commercial, Cisco Read joined Cisco last year, holding responsibility for direct mail reseller opportunities within the firm’s commercial space. He was nominated by current colleagues, as well as former co-workers at his previous firm Logitech, who said he is a hard working professional who is “always on top of things” and “a good laugh”.
