New year, new PCR team
“These promotions and influx of new blood will give PCR a real boost in the new year, and allow us to build on the significant gains made in 2010.” Lisa Foster,
managing editor
THE UK’S LEADING IT trade publication is starting the New Year with a spate of promotions and fresh appointments, assembling an even stronger team which will drive the publication’s print, online and events operations through 2011. Matt Grainger has been promoted
to technology editor, having spent over two years as staff writer on the publication. Helen French will join the brand as associate editor, providing significant editorial clout with her background at Future Publishing, book publisher Mills and Boon, and other Intent Media titles. On the sales side, Carly Bailey becomes executive sales manager, and Jodie Holdway is promoted to sales manager. “It’s great have Jodie step up her
involvement in the sales team as we look ahead to the PCR Awards this year,” said Carly Bailey. “Our online growth coupled with the strength of the print publication means we’re confident that we have a stronger proposition than ever before.” The move comes alongside huge gains in traffic for the PCR-online website, and the recent launch of the PCR iPad and iPhone apps. Lisa Foster, managing editor of PCR said of the staff shake-up: “These promotions and influx of new blood will give PCR a real boost in the new year, and allow us to build on the significant gains made in 2010. On both sales and editorial, we will be a stronger unit than ever – better able to bring you all the breaking industry news, and serve the trade as its leading publication, through print, online, as well as our new iPhone and iPad apps. Bring on 2011.”
