West Central District, MA, lodge members visited the Northampton VA Medical Center, treated more than 300 veterans to dinner and bingo games, and donated a popcorn machine, popcorn oil, a number of phone cards, pieces of clothing, and boxes containing magazines, books, music CDs, and puzzles to the center.


St. Cloud, MN, Lodge members staffed a sweet corn and vegetable stand for more than two months and raised about $2,350 for the lodge Veterans Service Committee.


Greenview, MO, Lodge members treated 12 local veterans to brunch at the lodge.


Cass County, MO, Lodge held its second annual Veteran Bass Tournament, in which 42 boats participated, and raised more than $1,000 for lodge veterans programs. Pictured with ER Ronnie Henderson (left) are two of the winners, local participant John Politt (center) and US Navy veteran Howard Love.


Northwest District, IN, lodge mem- bers visited the Indiana Veterans Home in Lafayette, treated nearly 140 veterans to a barbecue lunch and bingo games with small cash prizes, and gave the veterans about $2,000 worth of books, toiletries, and home- baked cookies.


Richmond, IN, Lodge donated $1,500 to the Wayne County Veterans Council. The funds were earmarked to support the Avenue of Flags Program ($500), which decorates the streets of Richmond with US flags in honor of veterans, and the council’s other programs that aid veterans ($1,000).


Portland, ME, Lodge members volunteered to serve veterans at a Beach Party put on by the Maine Veterans Home–Scarborough.


Towson, MD, Lodge members visited the Perry Point VA Medical Center and treated more than 180 veterans and their families to a barbecue lunch. In other news, the lodge held its


sixth annual Charity Golf Tourna- ment, in which 107 golfers competed, and raised about $6,350 for the lodge Veterans Service Committee.

Jefferson City, MO, Lodge held a Run for the Vets Motor Rally, in which more than 150 motorcycle riders took part, and raised more than $8,500 for lodge veterans activities.
