Highland, AR, Lodge donated a handmade lap robe to US Navy veteran Benny Hall, who is a new resident of a local nursing home.
Texarkana, AR, Lodge members, with the help of a $500 ENF Gratitude Grant, treated 42 area veterans and their families to lunch at the lodge.
Huntington Beach, CA, Lodge donated $1,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project in Henderson, NV, to help US Marine Corps PFC Michael Araujo, who lost a leg while serving in Af- ghanistan, with his rehabilitation.
Palo Alto, CA, Lodge members visited the Palo Alto VA medical facility and treated more than 200 veterans, family members, and friends to a barbecue meal and live musical entertainment. Lodge members also delivered meals to those veterans who were unable to leave their rooms. In other news, lodge members visited the Palo Alto VA medical facility and treated 40 veterans and their families to refreshments and bingo games, with canteen books for prizes. Lodge members also gave the veterans two wristwatches, four LED key rings, a laptop computer mouse, three T-shirts, three ball caps, and a jacket as door prizes.
Santa Barbara, CA, Lodge members treated more than 60 veterans to lunch during two Bring a Veteran to Lunch events.

Garden Grove, CA, Lodge held a Keep Alive the Spirit of ’45 Party on the lodge grounds to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Allied victory in World War II. More than 500 people, including veterans and their friends, attended the party and were treated to food, historical displays, and live musical entertainment. Simi Valley, CA, Lodge provided 50 bag lunches to veterans attending a Stand Down in Ventura. In other news, lodge members visited the Sepulveda VA Ambulatory Care Center and treated 15 veterans to bingo and horse race games.
Vacaville, CA, Lodge held a Military Appreciation Dinner to honor veterans of World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the first Gulf War, as well as military personnel who had served in the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. At the event, lodge members treated 20 veterans and five active-duty personnel to dinner.
Telluride, CO, Lodge members, with the help of the Elks/Wounded Warrior Project, treated seven wounded veterans and two aides to four days of outdoor activities that included horseback riding, fishing, whitewater rafting, an off-road Jeep tour, and a visit to a hot spring. The veterans were also treated to a picnic lunch by the Montrose, CO, Lodge.
Westminster, CO, Lodge held a Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction fund-raiser and raised $840, which will be split between lodge veterans programs and Freedom Service Dogs, a nonprofit organization that trains
