Anniston, AL, Lodge held a Woman- less Beauty Pageant, in which 12 men participated, and collected more than $1,800 for Relay for Life, which raises money through various events for the American Cancer Society.
Cahaba Valley, AL, Lodge held a Second Chance Prom Dinner and Dance fund-raiser and through dinner sales and a silent auction raised $11,000 that was donated to the Alabama Kidney Foundation.
Kingman, AZ, Lodge members at- tended the dedication of a memorial to 11 firefighters and a gas company worker who lost their lives in a 1973 railroad tanker explosion and treated the 200 people who attended the event to dinner. The lodge also donated $500 to the memorial fund to purchase two bricks inscribed with the names of eight lodge members who died in the accident.
Phoenix, AZ, Lodge held a Christmas in July fund-raiser, which more than 250 people attended, and through dinner sales and a silent auction raised $10,000 for the lodge’s Christ- mas Shopping Spree Program for needy children.
In other news, the lodge held a Firefighter Night and treated 125 firefighters from four area fire stations to a steak dinner.
Show Low, AZ, Lodge held a Minia- ture Golf Tournament and raised $4,000 from sponsorships, raffles, and food sales to support the lodge’s Clothe-A-Child Program.

Fairbanks, AK, Lodge hosted an End- of-Season Special Olympics Banquet and treated 70 Special Olympians and 50 family members and friends to dinner and dancing at the lodge. Lodge members also gave each athlete a medal. Pictured with his medal is Special Olympian Jeffery Blanton.
Chino Valley, AZ, Lodge donated six US flags to Paulden Community School for display in five classrooms and the front office. Pictured with one of the flags are (from left) Est. Lect.
