There's no denying that there was a definite buzz about this year's Printwear & Promotion LIVE! Visitor numbers were up, orders were being taken and exhibitors were reporting unprecedented levels of inquiries. Don't just take our word for it! Read some of our exhibitors' comments on page 25. Back at base, we had all been collectively holding our breath, wondering what to expect this year. Against a backdrop of cancelled shows and reduced visitor numbers at the NEC, we were surprised and delighted to have yet another record breaker on our hands. Almost 4,500 people visited this year's show. Of course, any show is only as good as the products and services on display. And this year, we were proud to have been chosen as the launch pad for a whole host of machinery, garments and ancillary products, which you can read about on our review pages. Everyone knows how much effort goes in to organising a show on this scale and the pressure is always on to be bigger and better than the year before. So a big thank you to everyone who supported the show – whether you were an exhibitor or a visitor. Thanks also to Exhibitions Manager, Richard Smith, and our unsung heroine, administrator Hannah James. They both deserve a huge pat on the back for ensuring that everything went smoothly. Maybe it's too early to say whether our industry is on the up. Let's just say that Printwear & Promotion LIVE! was a great barometer of things to come during 2010. Have a good month.
