EXHIBITION REVIEW

Here's what our exhibitors are saying about the show

Yet again another excellent show for BTC activewear. We had 40 staff working on the stand on Sunday and we were all kept constantly busy all day! "It is always good meeting existing customers, but we were very pleased with the amount & quality of new contacts we met. An all round

success! – Glenn Hyams, joint MD, BTC Activewear

This year's show

was a phenomenal success for us, with the number of enquiries and sales on the stand being the highest we have had for many years. "The re-launch of our custom print service seemed to strike the right chord with a lot of visitors and we could not have been happier with the volume and quality of the leads that we got.

– Chris Treadway, sales manager, Target Transfers

Once again our expectations for the show were greatly exceeded. The Printwear & Promotion show is indeed the only platform for garment decoration innovation within the UK and Irish markets. We are already looking forward to 2011! – Jim Nicol,

managing director, TheMagicTouch

Printwear & Promotion 2010 has without a

doubt surpassed our expectations. Not only was it well attended by all areas of the industry, the show was very well organised and it remains an important platform for Sharon Lee. We are already looking forward to P&P 2011 – Toby Pache,

managing director, Sharon Lee

We will definitely be attending next year. Due to the huge success of the stand, we collected well over 400 contacts for new business. –

George Powell,

marketing and design

manager, Transfer Supplies Ltd.

GREAT GREAT show – well done all

concerned. I had some good feedback too from the seminars. – Gordon Glenister, director

general, BPMA

Blue Max was really pleased to have attended

the show this year. We can't hide from the fact that this is a difficult financial climate but despite this, there seemed to be a real buzz. The calibre of visitors was high, as usual. For the first time, we opted for an open-sided stand. This seemed to provide a much better showcase for our brand, attracting lots of interest from new customers as well as our existing ones. The Fashion Show was much improved this year. Fresh new choreography and models really lifted it and I was pleased to see crowds of visitors gathered for each one. –

Jeremy Aston-Phillips, director of sales,

Blue Max

It cannot be said that the success experienced at

the Just Hoods stand at the Pand P show was unprecedented because 2009 was completely brilliant. It’s just that 2010 exceeded all expectations and was totally amazing," said the Just Hoods spokesman. "With the stand staff more than doubled for this year and with all 45 colours displayed on mannequins the stand was an impressive sight situated just inside the entrance and it was totally mobbed from ten seconds past ten on the Sunday morning more or less for the duration of the show. The much sought after promotional items including Jelly Bears simply flew off the stand. "AWDis continues to develop at such a pace that the show is both a brilliant showcase for all things new and a sounding board for potential new

developments as well. "The recently launched and instantly successful Just Hoods Jogpants were introduced directly as a result of customer feedback in 2009. "We will definitely be there in 2011," he

concluded. – Just Hoods, by AWDis

We found the visitors to be in a very positive

frame of mind about the purchase of new equipment to take their businesses forward. "Our expectation of visitors and the quality of the enquiries exceeded our expectation and returned to the quantity of several years ago. Again thanks to all your team. – Roy Burton, managing

director, YES Ltd

It was a busy show and we had a constant flow

of people coming on to our stand, which was great. On the Sunday we were delighted to see a number of people new to the industry making use of a non-working day to spend time at the show. The Promota Show taking place in the adjoining hall on the Monday and Tuesday created an interesting dynamic too. Overall, we had some excellent conversations with customers and it was good to have the chance for face- to-face chats about business and how we at PenCarrie can help decorators in their day-to-day dealings. – David Abrahams, marketing

manager, PenCarrie

Beechfield enjoyed another successful Printwear

and Promotion exhibition. The atmosphere was quite upbeat and I got the impression that people within the industry were happy to have survived 2009 – there was almost a celebratory feel. Those ‘survivors’ were keen to seek out new ideas to carry them through for another year, and it appeared that many of them had arrived at the show with a clear agenda of what they are looking for, helped by a good dose of ‘open mindedness’. As usual, the show attracted ‘serious’ visitors and I gained the distinct impression that many of the visitors to the Beechfield stand would be placing orders immediately. "It was especially pleasing that visitors to the neighbouring Promota exhibition, who came over to Printwear & Promotion, were clearly impressed by the quality of the ‘P&P’ exhibitors. "This year’s show has helped to restore confidence in Printwear & Promotion Live! as a genuinely worthwhile industry event. – Roger McHugh,

Managing Director of Beechfield
