AMAAZIA WATERPARK India welcome firsts King Cobra waterslide

Indian port city Surat, in the state of Gujarat, is best known for its diamond industry… and with the addition of the new Amaazia Amusement Park, featuring an award- winning King Cobra waterslide by Polin Waterparks, it now can boast another jewel to its crown

pride of lions to elephants, koala bears, polar bears and water buffalo - and aquatic decorations in bright, playful hues. Opened in December 2016, the waterpark covers 4.5 acres (nearly 2 hectares) and can accommodate up to 3,000 visitors daily. Polin Waterparks installed nearly a dozen waterslide attractions to match the South American theme, including a large children's water play attraction and the largest wave pool in the region, in addition to the show- stopping King Cobra. Owned by the Rajgreen Group, the waterpark is the first phase of what is to become a multi-offering amusement park. Amaazia is India's first indoor integrated amusement park, comprising waterpark, theme park, family entertainment centre and retail experience. The second phase of the facility will include the full-scale, Bollywood-themed family entertainment centre catering to all ages, and featuring indoor amusement park, bird park, snow park, shopping mall, hotel, banquet halls, a three-screen cinema and ‘7D’ theatre.

Rides receive rave reviews Early visitors to the new waterpark have variously described it as, “the best experience of my life," "world-class" and outright "awesome." Special comments singled out the award- winning King Cobra waterslide. The other waterslides have all been uniquely designed for
