HighFlyer Zipline opens at Foxwoods

Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mashantucket, Connecticut, has introduced the Foxwoods HighFlyer Zipline. It is the next phase of Foxwoods’ long-term development plan to provide guests with outdoor adventure experiences. Operated by Redwood Parks Co., the Foxwoods Highflyer Zipline is a

33-story high adventure. It launches guests from the top of the Fox Tower to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center at a top speed of 60 mph (97 kph). This allows guests to soar above the grounds of the Mashantucket Pequot reservation on four parallel lines running over 3,750 feet (1,143 m) long. Following last fall’s opening of the Thrill Tower at Foxwoods, the addition of the zipline speaks to the resort’s ongoing commitment to building an all-inclusive Northeast destination that offers unique experiences beyond traditional gaming.

Six Flags China strikes up

partnership with Turner Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, Riverside Investment Group, and Turner Asia Pacific announced a partnership that will bring original branded experiences to Six Flags parks throughout China. The first of these additions will be a new Tuzki-branded dark ride, which will join

other Turner-owned IP from Cartoon Network’s portfolio of characters and shows to be featured inside Six Flags Kids World. The park – which will be the first of its kind and designed especially for families with young children – will be built adjacent to both Six Flags Zhejiang and Six Flags Chongqing.

while “The Claw” hangs overhead, and throughout the park retro gaming elements, like Rubik’s Cubes, Green Army Men, and Crayons, will be woven into the theming. Another popular pastime at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania, is getting an upgrade, too, with a new colourful game box entrance ready for the land’s opening. Recently updated with a third track, the ride will put even more guests in the carnival sprit as they take aim at 3D targets using everything from baseballs to cream pies.
