Dark Rides
Dracula’s Castle Gosetto’s latest dark ride!
G
osetto delivered their first dark ride almost 20 years ago, a revolutionary trailer-mounted horror house that had suspended gondolas, which was
no mean feat for its time. Fast-forward to today and Gosetto are still pushing boundaries with trailer-mounted dark rides, specifically produced for travelling fairs. 2017 marks the companies 40th anniversary and they have marked the occasion by producing their most innovative dark ride yet, Dracula’s Castle.
Dracula’s Castle is a trailer mounted dark ride
that was specifically manufactured for a Scandinavian customer who wanted a ghost train full of special effects. The customer also specified that the ride must be practical and fast to set up and take down, due to the nature of travelling fairs. This was achieved by producing a dark ride comprised of one 16m semi-trailer which houses the loading station for six vehicles. Passengers enjoy ten different
animatronic scenes throughout the ride and come face to face with Dracula who moves, screams and squirts water at guests. The ride vehicles each sit three people and were produced entirely in the Gosetto factory, with the support of their new sister company Evocompositi who specialise in fiberglass and carbon fibers.
