NEWS 1xBet extends Dallas Open partnership Mr Vegas


1xBet has renewed its partnership with the Dallas Open and will continue as the Offi cial Betting Partner of the ATP 500 tennis tournament.


The agreement extends a collaboration between the betting operator and the US event, which was upgraded to ATP 500 status in 2025 and has become an established fi xture on the men’s professional calendar.


Under the renewed deal, 1xBet branding will appear throughout the 2027 tournament, held on indoor hard courts in Texas.


A spokesperson for 1xBet said: “The Dallas Open’s upgrade to ATP 500 status has increased its international profi le. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and supporting the tournament’s further development.” The Dallas Open attracts leading ATP players and serves as an important event in the early- season North American tennis calendar, offering signifi cant ranking points and prize money. 1xBet has almost 20 years of successful operation in the betting and gambling industry. The list of 1xBet’s offi cial partners includes Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, the Italian Serie A, FIBA, Volleyball World and Billie Jean King Cup.


Amatic Industries reports positive Peru Gaming Show


Amatic Industries has reported a successful Peru Gaming Show following two days of meetings with customers and partners at the event in Lima. The Austrian gaming technology supplier showcased products aimed at the Peruvian and wider Latin American markets, including its Performer Grand Arc Black cabinet and the Lucky Link linked progressive jackpot system. In addition to its land-based portfolio, the company also highlighted its expanding online gaming range, demonstrating solutions designed to support both land-based and digital gaming operations.

Bacta warns of impact of Machine Games Duty rise


Bacta has warned that an increase in Machine Games Duty (MGD) could lead to business closures, reduced investment and job losses across the UK’s land-based gaming sector. The trade association’s latest member survey found that all respondents expected a negative impact from a signifi cant increase in MGD, with 90% describing the effect as severe. The fi ndings also indicated that profi tability,


staffi ng levels and investment in new gaming machines would be among the areas most affected. Nearly nine in 10 respondents said higher duty would make reduced investment very likely.


Bacta president Joseph Cullis (pictured), said: “Raising taxes on gaming machines will only damage high streets, seaside towns, clubs,

pubs, bingo venues, manufacturers and the wider supply chain.”


He added that the association believes a higher tax burden could strengthen the unregulated market while placing further pressure on licensed operators.

Online casino brand Mr Vegas has signed a front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with Reading FC for the 2026/27 season. The partnership will see the operator’s branding appear on the League One club’s men’s fi rst-team shirts while also supporting a programme of fan engagement and digital content initiatives. Mr Vegas said it was attracted by Reading’s ambitions to broaden its profi le beyond its traditional fanbase through storytelling, community engagement and digital media. Marco Trucco, Chief Marketing Offi cer at parent company Immense Group, said: “We were looking for a club with ambitions to grow beyond its traditional footprint. Reading’s vision made it a strong fi t.” Reading FC Chief Executive Joe Jacobson said the partnership would support the club’s efforts to engage supporters in new ways and expand its reach beyond matchdays.
