aming equipment company Paradise Entertainment announced its Singaporebased subsidiary LT Smart has been granted approval as an Approved Manufacturer by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Singapore.


The approval, effective immediately, adds Singapore to the company’s roster of regulated jurisdictions and strengthens its standing with international investors and partners., the company said in a press release on Thursday.


Paradise Entertainment said the recognition would support its push for regional expansion and bolster its ability to showcase its technology in tightly regulated markets.


Chairman and managing director Dr. Jay Chun called the approval “an affirmation of our capabilities and commitment to innovation and compliance,” adding that the new status would open doors to “growth, collaboration and the delivery of worldclass entertainment experiences across the region.”


Paradise Entertainment develops gaming technology, electronic table games, slot machines and gaming systems for global markets. The group also provides advisory and other services to the gaming industry, with a focus on software engineering, automation and artificial intelligence for highsecurity environments.

The so-called “black-box” rumours swirled around Macau casinos, alleging that opaque electronic card shoes were rigged against gamblers to manipulate outcomes. Such allegations have been mounting on social media in mainland China, prompting the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau to step in a second time. Calling the online information ‘purely rumours’, the gaming regulator said that some of those who had claimed to be victims had appeared to orchestrate scams as they urged ‘others to contact specific people for assistance’. ‘Such messages may involve fraud. Members of the public are hereby reminded not to trust or forward unverified information in order to avoid being deceived,’ the DICJ statement read.


The DICJ stated that all gaming equipment operating on casino floors is ‘strictly regulated’ and ‘must comply with laws, technical standards, and safety requirements’.
