SYNKROS A

s casinos search for new and unique ways to create differentiated player experiences, there is an increasing interest in system-delivered bonusing solutions. One such solution is SYNKROS Progressive Management (SPM), available through Konami Gaming, Inc.’s award- winning SYNKROS casino management system. Through SYNKROS’ integrated SYNKROS Progressive Management module, both carded and uncarded players can chase big wins throughout their play session with fully system-delivered and operator- configured progressive and mystery jackpots. This technology allows casinos and routes to custom configure, standard or mystery progressives to targeted player segments and machines of their choice. From within SYNKROS’ integrated platform, operators can create their own progressive and mystery jackpots to run on any SAS 6.0+ enabled game machines that are AFT capable on their floors, without any additional in-machine hardware or networking. The progressive or mystery jackpots are paid directly to the machine. “One of the biggest bonusing trends we’ve seen from casino operators is that they are moving away from exclusively using 3rd party Marketing kiosks for promotions and instead are taking advantage of built in SYNKROS promotional features supported directly on the slot machine via the player tracking user interface,” said Tom Soukup, senior vice president & chief systems product officer at Konami Gaming, Inc. “These capabilities eliminate the need for players to have to get up off their favorite machines and go over to a kiosk somewhere else on the casino floor to engage with loyalty promotions. Instead, interaction with loyalty promotions occurs directly at the game machine. As a result, casinos achieve greater player time-on-device and can provide their players a seamless player experience.”

SYNKROS Progressive Management is one of Konami’s latest system-delivered tools for delivering loyalty promotions directly to a player’s game device. Progressive jackpots can be shown, awarded, and redeemed through the player tracking display. Player excitement grows as the meters increment higher and higher, simultaneous to the patron’s ongoing play session. This technology delivers a highly configurable and distinct player bonusing experience, so players can discover, chase, and enjoy new reward opportunities on the casino floor. players or restrict participation to carded loyalty players only. Moreover, operators can configure jackpots according to player loyalty tier—with differing progressive contributions incrementations based on card member tier. SYNKROS Progressive Management offers several methods for communicating these eye-catching progressive jackpot awards to guests. Real-time progressive meters can be displayed via the in- machine player tracking screen, on the game screen via SYNKROS True-Time Windowing “picture-in-picture” technology; and/or on any in-house displays. running on the floor as well as display the associated “must hit by” amounts, with full administrative sign management and sign maintenance within SYNKROS. Built for scalability and versatility, SYNKROS Progressive Management empowers operators to add exciting new jackpots to the overall guest experience. This technology gives operators the ability to offer new progressive jackpot opportunities to players, with no additional in-game hardware, no additional network connections, required. SYNKROS Progressive Management offers a highly configurable and distinct player bonusing opportunity for casinos seeking a competitive edge or extra advantage.
