INTERVIEW: HOT100
HOT100 2026 returns to Vietnam: An interview with Rosalind Wade
Ahead of yet another dazzling networking event that brings together operators, suppliers and investors to relax and talk business in a five star setting, our GIO team has spoken to Rosalind Wade Founder & CEO, Winna Media, about what makes the HOT100 event so special every year.
GIO: How would you describe HOT100? RW: The HOT100 is a unique proposition. It’s 100 gaming executives, linked by their business in Asia, gathered together in a beautiful resort for four days/three nights of networking, Gourmet dinners, golf on some of the best courses in Asia and of course learning.
It was born from the belief that good business is built on solid relationships, and these are hard to form at some global industry expos.
The HOT100 brings it back to basics: a small group of high-level
representatives with whom you’re going to share a number of great bonding experiences throughout the event. The venue is important because it has to provide the right mix of luxury, relaxation and exceptional experiences to put everyone in a great frame of mind to do business naturally.
GIO: Who attends the event? RW: Of course, we have some of the usual suspects who attend many other events, such as the game suppliers and aggregators, but there are always people there who don’t normally attend these kinds of industry events due to various sensitivities.
We have representatives from casinos and slots clubs, online gaming and betting operators, software and system providers, payments companies, affiliates and promoters, investors and bankers.
GIO: How are these people chosen? RW: The first event was primarily based on personal invitations from me. Since then, people have come to hear about the event and have approached me to see if they can join. I’m pretty liberal with who comes. As long as they are senior-level and we keep the balance between suppliers and operators. I’ve been in Asia a long time (20+ years), and in the gaming industry for nearly as long, so I have a wide network spanning most of the key Asia Pacific markets. I like to think I can bring unusual people together whom you wouldn’t necessarily meet elsewhere.
