Hello and welcome to another issue of Casino International.


As is traditional, I’d like to dedicate the next 300 words to talking about the weather… but I’ve had a memo from the management saying I’m no longer allowed to mention how hot it is, even if it genuinely is like living on the sun most days.


So, there you go: the end of an era.


Anyway, how are you? How’s the weather where you are (they didn’t say I couldn’t ask about weather!).


I’m just joking (I already looked up where you all live and know exactly what the weather is like near you). I’m not here to discuss sunscreen, I’m here to welcome you to the issue. And WHAT an issue it is!


We have a cheeky little section dedicated to the bright sparks of the industry behind the CMS systems you all know and love, as well as input from our usual regional experts, updating you on activity in such nebulous locations as Macau, Africa, UK, Latin America and North America. Oh, and we also have a new contributor in Poppleston Allen, a boutique licensing law firm focused solely on licensing and hospitality. So welcome to those folks.


Simon Thomas returns to answer your questions, while Neil delivers his usual GIO-flavoured goodness towards the rear of the vehicle.
