TCSJOHNHUXLEY
One of the main stories for TCSJH was the partnership with Gaming Entertainment Systems (GES) which resulted in the launch at ICE of MultiBet Roulette and MultiBet Baccarat at ICE 2020. The patented MultiBet system fuses sports and lottery-style betting with table games, creating exciting betting options with the results derived from live or virtual table games within the casino venue. MultiBet allows players to place sports and lottery-style bets on
table games via a betting terminal issuing betting tickets. Once players receive a ticket, it’s either activated for virtual table games at the terminal, or at the gaming tables for live games. ICE also saw the company debut two new table ranges – one for the iGaming sector and the other for high-end environments. Space and player requirements are very different for online casinos – with no need to incorporate multiple player positions. Tables in the iGaming sector can be much more compact and do not need to follow traditional designs. The new mini iGaming Roulette table incorporates a much smaller footprint, with the number grid taking up most of the tabletop and a unique moveable wheel platform on wheels, designed to be locked into either end of the table depending on whether the dealer is right- or left-handed. This innovative set up can be easily incorporated into the standard range of tables, as the Roulette wheel is the regular size. The new wheel housing provides added security as it is completely independent of the table, built into a solid base and therefore cannot be tampered with by applying pressure or leaning on the wheel platform. The ease of moving a roulette wheel around the gaming floor on its own mobile platform is also a major benefit for operators and maintenance staff. TCSJOHNHUXLEY’s new range of high-end tables are part of The
Bertil Collection, named after company founder Bertil Knutsson. Last but not least, additions to the Qorex electronic gaming solutions line at ICE included the world debut of the innovative Giant Dice Shaker.
JCM
JCM’s major focus at ICE was the new UBA Pro Family, which sets a new standard in bill validation. Payam Zadeh, General Manger JCM Europe says: “The newly-introduced product suite consists of a bill validator – the UBA Pro – and two bill recyclers for two and four denominations – the UBA Pro-RT and UBA Pro-RQ. The UBA Pro Family builds on the solid foundation of the best of our bill validation technologies and raises the bar.” The UBA Pro Family suite is built on the foundations of JCM’s pioneering bill validation technologies and takes the next step in casino cash management. This wasn’t the only cutting edge offering to go on display at ICE 2020, however, with JCM also showing the MRX Modular Banknote Recycler – fast, flexible and perfect for a wide range of payment terminal types and tables. Accepting two banknotes per second, with an escrow capacity of up to 30 notes and a recycler cassette capacity of up to 60 notes x 2 drums, operators can select the number of cassettes they need for each individual application making it the ultimate option for flexibility.
62 MARCH 2020
Another product that visitors to found was iVIZION, the bill
validator that processes banknotes faster than any other in its class with 100 % total image capture – meaning higher accuracy and higher security. Operators visiting the JCM stand also saw the RDM, iPRO-RC, tbv, and VEGA bill acceptors/recyclers.
