SIGMA WORLD
Bigger than a gaming expo- SiGMA World ramping up for Rome
For me, the measure of a good SiGMA event is never simply how many badges we print. It is how many worthwhile conversations, partnerships and deals come out of those four days.
GIO: What makes SiGMA World unique? EP: I think it is the mix, but also the way we bring people together. We have always been very focused on gaming, but the companies operating in this industry no longer exist in a separate bubble. They are dealing with AI, payments, data, finance, affiliate marketing, regulation and new technologies every day.
Rome reflects that. SiGMA sits alongside AIBC and the other specialist communities we have developed, so someone can come for gaming and end up having a valuable conversation with a fintech company, an investor or an AI founder they would not normally meet. That cross-pollination is becoming increasingly important to us.
Networking has always been one of the things SiGMA is known for, and we take a very people-first approach to it. Some of the most valuable conversations do not happen during a panel or at a stand. They happen over dinner, during one of our networking activities or simply because we have created the right setting for people to spend time together. That is why we invest so much in experiences outside the conference floor, including activities such as our golf tournament.
As one of the largest iGaming exhibitions approaches, GIO speaks to Eman Pulis, founder of SiGMA Group all about the next event in the Italian capital.
GIO: What can people expect from SiGMA World in Rome? Eman Pulis: They should expect something much bigger than a traditional gaming expo. We are bringing around 30,000 delegates, more than 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors, and roughly 550 speakers to Fiera Roma, with five conference stages and 100,000 square metres of event space. What excites me most, though, is the mix of people in the room. You will have operators and suppliers alongside affiliates, investors, regulators, policymakers, startups and technology companies. We are also bringing SiGMA, AIBC, AGS and
FX.World closer together, so there is a real opportunity for people to move outside their usual circle and discover where gaming is beginning to overlap with AI, fintech, finance and affiliate marketing.
