SBC SUMMIT INTERVIEW Slotegrator at SBC
While at SBC we caught up with Andrii Lypovyi, Platform Sales Team Leader, Slotegrator to talk about what they are doing to combat fraud, customise experiences and what’s coming next for them in the next 12 months.
GIO: You’re talking to a lot of people on the exhibition floor. What are some of the big problems they’re having? Andrii Lypovyi: So the biggest problems that the operators are talking about, I would say firstly, is the time to market, you know, speed of delivery. That’s definitely very important as you can’t just, you know, with a huge team on a payroll without a product for months on end. Secondly, I would say it’s the
commercial and technical flexibility of the product commercially wise, we can see a problem like in Brazil, right, where suddenly the regulation changes and some providers, they get out of depth to it. That’s definitely one of the biggest problems. And secondly, when we are talking about the technical solution, it needs to be flexible enough for the
operator to implement changes by himself without waiting for the technical team of the supplier, you know, to make any kind of change.
GIO: Retention is always a major concern. What can operators do to make their platform competitive, and how can they know it’s working? AL: When we are talking about retention on the platform, I would say that, definitely. Firstly, you need to have a proper loyalty system in place that will reward players for positive actions on your platform. And will paint them a path to success on your platform.
As getting more cash back, getting better rate back, getting better customer support conditions, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Secondly, I would like to highlight just generally the bonuses and the gamification that you have on your platform. You should have loot boxes, cash back, like wheel of fortune and generally just a good bonus stack.
And thirdly, I would say that in order to test retention it’s really good to do AB testing, basically test out different versions of the bonuses of the loyalty systems that you are rolling out and see, what works and what doesn’t.
GIO: Fraud is increasingly a concern. What can operators do to combat fraud like bonus abuse? AL: When we are talking about fraud in today’s casinos, with the volume of players that we are having, it’s just impossible to do it manually.
So you need some kind of an automated system that will run on clearly set up parameters, you know, with the understandable metrics that will automatically ban players or disable the withdrawals or, I don’t know, disable bonuses if you suspect that the player is bonus hunting and then you review it, case by case manually when the player comes back to you and has the support to raise the ban or something like that.
