SBC SUMMIT INTERVIEW Megafair at SBC

Alena Tsuranova, Chief Comercial Officer, Megafair chatted to us at the show about how changing trends in the market affect their work and the conversations they’re having with their partners

We still offer direct integration as well. So, if the operators prefer it, they can always approach us, and we can arrange that for them as well.

GIO: What are the key trend in slots and mechanics? And how does MEGAFAIR sort of fit into all of this? AT: The industry is evolving all the time. We can see that the trends change, but the major directions probably stay the same. We still see that hold-and-win games perform very well. Cascade games and all the main mechanics remain the same. All the themes with candies, fruit, gods and all the other stuff are still popular. However, we see that a lot of new game providers appear with some fresh animations and fresh designs. We will see how well they perform and if everyone will stick to this new style now.

GIO: There is a lot of competition. How would you find a balance between the things that you know work for you, that are proven, and these new experimental games or trends? How do you find a balance there? AT: It’s a good question for any business, right? Well, we try to combine both. We try to stick to something that is more proven and performs more predictably. However, we try to experiment as well, as a minor part of our business, and we try to launch more experimental games, like skill games. We have some instant-win mechanics, so this is something that we try to do on a monthly basis.

Everyone wants to find a new Aviator game or chicken game that will perform very well. So, this is something that you should not stop exploring when you do business.

GIO: How’s it going for you guys so far? What sort of conversations have you been having with people? Alena Tsuranova: Oh, for us, this time SBC is going really great. We have an amazing stand and are very happy with the team and everything they did for us.

The first day was really busy. We had a lot of planned meetings. However, this part of the hall is a little bit quieter, I would say. So I really hope that today we will have more walk-in clients. Other than that, everything is

going really well for us. This conference is a good success.

GIO: How is it for operators to launch your games today? AT: Well, for us, over the last year, it was a big year of launches. We have launched with all the majority of big aggregators across the industry. So now I think it has become super easy. We’re available almost everywhere, and it has become effortless for operators to launch us.

GIO: What’s next for Megafair? What’s on the roadmap for the next year or so? What have you got planned? AT: We’re focused mainly on slots. We launch one to two games per month. We will try to introduce more branded games and see how that goes.

We are focused on other features as well, such as free spins and other marketing tools. So hopefully, we will deliver something that our operators can use to promote us and earn more money together with us.d-and-win games perform very well.
