SIGMA WORLD PREVIEW
You ask AI where to vacation, but have you asked it about your brand?
Let’s be honest with each other. When you’re planning a vacation, you probably skip Google and go straight to the ChatGPT to ask where you should go. Well, your customers are most likely doing the same thing, according to
mr.Booster.
S
o, here’s our question for now: Have you asked an AI about your brand? And what did it say? Does AI even know your brand exists? And if not, why not? We’ll discuss more about
this in this article.
A PROTECTION PLAN FOR YOUR BRAND If a brand loses control of its digital presence, LLMs don’t simply ignore it (that would be too easy). Instead, they make things up and rewrite the story. Here are the main threats.
HOW TO TELL IF IT’S WORKING
For many years, SEO has taught us to track brand visibility based on keywords. With AI, we’ll have to forget about that. Assessing visibility with AI boils down to three simple points: • Frequency of brand mentions: How often does AI mention your brand when people ask for recommendations in your niche?
• Frequency of recommendations: Does the AI actively promote your product, or does it simply list you as one of the options?
The good news is that even if you’ve checked what LLMs are saying about your brand and didn’t like what you saw, or if you want to build a good relationship with them from the start, there’s a perfectly viable solution for what to do and how to handle it.
Conduct a transparent audit: test high-intent prompts like “[brand] alternatives” or “[brand] pricing” across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity to see how you are positioned against competitors. Set your priorities: a fake website ranking at the top is more dangerous than a random comment on a forum with no traffic. Boost what you can control: use structured data (
Schema.org) so AI algorithms can easily read your facts and pricing. And double-check your robots.txt file – half of all brands don’t even realize they’re accidentally blocking ChatGPT’s search crawler from reading their site! Build your external credibility: get expert quotes, research, and mentions in industry media. LLMs rely heavily on third-party sources to decide if you’re legit.
Don’t stop at a one-time check: monitor how LLMs describe you, which competitors they compare you to, and which sources they cite.

• Accuracy of the description: Does it correctly convey the facts, features, and prices of your product?
Keep in mind that AI-powered search is changing rapidly. When ads appeared in ChatGPT in February 2026, the number of brand mentions temporarily dropped by 41%, but the metrics recovered within a month. You’ll need to constantly monitor what’s happening in the world of AI to adjust your strategy.
THE HONEST BOTTOM LINE
Let’s be honest: LLMs can be unpredictable, whimsy, and stubborn. Today, ChatGPT gives you a glowing recommendation, and tomorrow it fabricates a scandal involving a brand that never existed. Trying to manage AI often feels like arguing with a wall – unless you know exactly which buttons to push.
