GIO NOVEMBER 2026 3
As the international iGaming industry prepares for another major gathering, all eyes are turning towards Rome, where SiGMA World will take place from 2–5 November. And, with another packed programme of competitions, conferences, awards and networking opportunities on the agenda, there’s plenty to look forward to at this exhibition.
In this issue, we catch up with SiGMA Group founder Eman Pulis, who shares his thoughts on the event, its continued development, and what visitors can expect from this year’s gathering. We’ve also spoken to several key exhibitors about their plans for Rome, giving readers a fl avour of what’s in store before the doors open.
Of course, the iGaming industry never stands still, particularly when it comes to game development. This month, we investigate new slot releases from LuckyHills and Bullshark Games, two developers who are also in the running for recognition at January’s European iGaming Awards in Barcelona, held alongside ICE. With competition as fi erce as ever, it will be interesting to see who takes home the trophies.
We’re also looking back at last month’s SBC Summit in Lisbon. As anyone who attended will know, it was another busy few days of meetings, presentations and conversations about where the industry is heading. We’ve followed up with a series of interviews featuring many of the event’s leading exhibitors, exploring their latest developments and perspectives on the market.
With Lisbon only just behind us, Rome around the corner, and Barcelona already looming on the horizon, there’s certainly no shortage of opportunities for the industry to get together. The challenge, as always, is fi nding enough time between events to put all those latest ideas and connections into practice.
Enjoy the issue, and we’ll see you in Rome. Neil Mead, Editor GIO
