JOURNEY TO SUCCESS

ONE YEAR ON…

enry wune launched Home Instead Medway back in March 2021

S

ince launching Henry has grown a sieable, profi table business providing much-needed uality home care to older people across North Kent and now employs

a team of 19 care professionals and two offi ce staff who support clients across the area, including with live-in care. Though launching his new business in an unusual year, amidst the CI-19 pandemic, Henry has been able to benefi t from growing demand in the home care sector and exceeded his target turnover in his fi rst year. Henry comments: “I had been looking at Home Instead’s franchise opportunity since 201, but it was never the right time until 2020. The pandemic has highlighted the benefi ts of keeping older people safe and well at home, and I launched my home care business at a time where the sector was growing and becoming more within the public eye. “The support and training I have received

as part of a franchise network, especially starting my business mid-pandemic was invaluable, guiding me through the ever- changing regulations in the sector. And it’s great to know this level of support is ongoing, guiding me throughout my journey.”

growing my team and delivering a high- uality service.
