Recycle Base is a ground reinforcement system

Just providing resin bound flooring solutions wasn’t enough for us, we wanted our products to leave a positive impact on the environment.” Cafe2U made it to the finals thanks to the
brand’s multiple green initiatives. Most recently, the brand has introduced zero emission electric vans to its fleet of nearly 100 vehicles; its goal is to replace the entire fleet with electric vans
by 2025. By switching from petrol-powered to electric vehicles, the company estimates it will reduce its CO² emissions by a staggering 12,672g CO²/km per annum. Cafe2U's sustainable business model also made
the company one of the UK's most popular mobile coffee franchises among new franchisees in 2021; despite COVID-19 disrupting operations, the company still increased its number of franchisees by 20%. Martyn Ward, CEO for Cafe2U, said: "While we're delighted to have developed a reputation as a sustainable franchise, our ambition is to become the UK's first carbon neutral coffee company, so we'll continue to improve the business until we make it as environmentally friendly as it can possibly be."
