Mobalpa C
elebrating the opening of eight UK showrooms within five years, leading French kitchen
manufacturer Mobalpa is continuing its ambitious franchise development plans across the country.
With more than 350 outlets worldwide, and producing more than 60,000 kitchens per year, Mobalpa launched in the UK in 2012 with a concept pilot showroom in Warrington. Since then, showrooms have opened across the South East and North West. The Mobalpa UK team works in partnership with its franchisees creating a network of support for all business owners. Before investing, prospective franchisees undertake a full testing process, which all Mobalpa directors, designers and managers have completed. Training days take place at the concept showroom in the UK and France over 10 weeks, where prospects are briefed on running a showroom, along with product, sales and management training. The UK team then continues to support all franchisees with business and retail skills, utilising their combined retail experience in the country. With firm plans to expand the franchise
network further over the next two years, this international kitchen brand is looking for robust and forward-thinking team players

with the ability to multitask, be forward-facing in a customer environment and have the motivation to succeed within the network and help drive the wider business forward. Kyle Whittle, country manager of Mobalpa
UK, says: “We’re excited about continuing our growth and look forward to meeting new prospects with the drive to run their own business as part of a leading kitchen brand with international reach and a national support programme. “Due to the level of assistance and training
provided by Mobalpa, we do not consider it necessary for franchisees to have specific kitchen industry experience; instead, we place greater emphasis on their wider business experience, personality and key management skills. “Franchisees need to wear many hats
on a daily basis – business owner, sales manager and designer, as well as being technically minded and customer focused – which is not an easy combination. “Once a new store opens, a dedicated
sales coach assists with the front end aspects, such as customer service and sales, while a network manager is deployed to support the everyday life of the store. This is invaluable for the franchisees and ensures a strong and confident start to the journey with Mobalpa, which has already proved a huge success for our current network of business owners.” The Mobalpa franchise package includes ongoing support from the Mobalpa group, marketing support, training, business monitoring tools and direct financing solutions.
