former sales manager with a global industrial manufacturer, 41-year-old Nigel Knowles is now branch director of Jackson Fire & Security in

Warrington. The fi rm will cover Warrington, Frodsham, Northwich, Runcorn, St Helens, Widnes and the surrounding areas. Nigel, who has worked in the electrical engineering sector for more than 20 years, says: “I’m looking forward to working with new and existing customers in the region to bring the company’s expertise closer to them. We can provide one cost-saving solution for our B2B clients. “We work with all types of organisations,

from local authorities, universities, colleges, large factories and small offi ces through to the smallest of businesses. Some of our clients include the University of Chester, Jack & Jones, Mococo and Warrington Golf Club.

“I started with Jackson Fire in January 2017 and, so far, it’s going really well. They have a great team of people in place, and as a network they are growing all the time. “Since I started I have been on a steep learning curve, but this is great for someone like me who craves developing new skills and meeting new people. I have now recruited Jordan, our Warrington- based engineer, who is looking forward to getting out and meeting our customers old and new.”

Steve Jackson, managing director of Jackson Fire & Security, adds: “Nigel’s background in sales made him a perfect candidate for Jackson Fire & Security. His technical knowledge and experience is fi rst class and he is going to be a real asset to the company.”

Founded in 1991, Jackson Fire & Security employs 40 people across franchises in Cambridgeshire, North Wales,

North West England, Staff ordshire and Yorkshire. The company provides a one-call service

whereby the engineers maintain fi re and security systems, plus emergency lighting and fi re extinguishers, during a single visit to save inconvenience and site attendance fees for customers. This provides multiple revenue streams and repeat business for Jackson franchisees. One of the UK’s leading independent
