Upon joining the Anytime Fitness family, franchisees are appointed their very own franchise performance coach (FPC) who will guide them through every stage of owning a club. These FPCs have years of experience in the fi eld ranging from general to regional managers across both public and private organisations within the fi tness industry. Adhering to best practice as part of the Anytime Fitness ‘Coaching Commitment’, they follow a charter that sets out the support a franchisee can expect to receive during their journey as
well as clarifi cation on what is expected from the franchisee to maximise the growth of their business. In addition to the FPCs, franchisees have access to a growing network of more than 30 specialists at the support offi ce, with expertise in everything from fi nance and operations to marketing and property.
Further establishing its commitment to its franchisees and, ultimately, members, Anytime Fitness has launched an initiative called ‘Evolve’ to ensure that all clubs are performing to the highest standards. This initiative works across several metrics, including a net promoter score assessment based on member feedback and brand standards assessments undertaken by the FPCs. Using a balanced scorecard approach, additional assessments focus on key areas of the business, ranging from health and safety and cleanliness, to operations, service levels and marketing. This provides a complete view of the business where clubs are benchmarked against industry standards and any challenges are clearly defi ned. Ranked the number-one global franchise
for three consecutive years and number- one fi tness franchise for eight consecutive years by Entrepreneur magazine, Anytime Fitness is an established brand with a business model that allows a great work-life balance. It’s an incredibly healthy option in an industry that, in the UK alone, turns over £4.7billion, showing substantial growth year on year. With the knowledge that the UK fi tness industry has an expected value of £5billion in 2018, there’s never been a better time to join the Anytime Fitness family. So what’s required? Opening an Anytime Fitness club requires a minimum investment of £170,000 liquid capital,
which represents 30 per cent of the total investment. Not only does it boast a proven model with a global success rate of 96 per cent, but the convenience and aff ordability of the product, for both franchisees and members, is just one of the many features allowing the brand to thrive.
“Anytime Fitness is an established brand with a business model that allows for a great work-life balance... there’s never been a better time to join”
Anytime Fitness promises a low staffi ng model with recurring monthly direct debits. A background in health and fi tness is not required and most franchisees employ a local manager to take on day-to-day managing of the club. With comprehensive training, customised ongoing support from dedicated franchise performance coaches and the launch of the brand’s new ‘Evolve’ initiative, it’s easy to see why 60 per cent of franchisees have gone on to invest in another Anytime Fitness club.
