Where are you seeking to franchise? There is a structural shift in the way people work and employees want more flexibility; as a result, we are experiencing unprecedented growth across the serviced office sector. Regus is looking for franchisees to grow with us as we continue to extend our global network of Regus locations and develop national networks. Regus franchisees will be able to be part of this journey as we continue to facilitate business and grow business communities within cities but also in secondary and tertiary cities and towns. What will a typical day for a franchisee be like? The role of the franchisee is simple: allow the business community in your territory to grow by providing a convenient workspace in which your customers can do the best work of their lives. We’re looking for franchisees who want to proudly show prospective customers their Regus location. We’re dedicated to making life for our customers simpler so they can focus on their core business – a happy customer is a customer who will keep coming back, so franchisees will be encouraged to maintain relationships with each of their customers. Day to day, franchisees ensure their Regus location is run professionally and kept to the standards that our customers expect when they work out of any one of our 3,100 locations globally. One day, they might be checking that cleaning has been done and there is sufficient coffee and paper in the machine, and another they’ll be taking calls for customers through the virtual office product and greeting guests as they come in to use the meeting rooms.


What training and support do you provide initially and ongoing (for both franchisees and master licensees)? We provide a comprehensive support programme, which starts immediately once the franchise agreement is signed. We start by plotting a timeline through to your first location opening date so you are ready when the doors finally open. We support you with project management, tendering, and the process of setting up a Regus location. In parallel, we run a thorough training programme for the franchisee and their centre team. The franchisee’s training is more high level and will focus on performance management, troubleshooting and sales, but they will also complete the centre team training, which covers the use of our systems, the sales journey and how a Regus location should be maintained. Training is completed through our online training academy, FUSE, as well as onsite


practical training. Access to FUSE is available at all times for refresher training, and regular performance management reviews with our senior team help identify when further practical training is required on key focus areas.
