Anytime Fitness grows its support network to drive the brand’s vision

elebrating 16 years of global success, Anytime Fitness is now turning its attention inward. The brand is looking to build on its substantial
growth by empowering its franchisees to reach new business heights. Since launching in 2002, the brand has achieved a worldwide presence of over 4,000 clubs, across 30 countries. With over 145 sites now open in the UK, Anytime Fitness is sprinting to its next milestone of 150 clubs. UK CEO Stuart Broster says: “It won’t be unreasonable to see us surpassing 190 clubs by the end of 2018… We have plans to open 400 clubs by 2020. Anytime Fitness is a globally recognisable brand with personality at the heart of its business model. It cares about its members and franchisees – which is reflected throughout every level of the business.”
In line with these ambitious expansion plans, Anytime Fitness is growing its team to enhance the training and support on offer to its franchisees. The brand continues this journey with the recent appointment of Ben Dixon as UK commercial and property director. Ben brings over 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry to the role and will be the driving force in helping to further grow the brand’s presence in the UK market. Ben will be responsible for steering projects within Anytime Fitness’s property, construction, compliance and procurement departments.
Ben joins Anytime Fitness after two years as group estates manager at PureGym, where he played an integral role in the day-to-day running of its 200-strong estate and was a key point of contact across the business for clubs, regional managers and the facilities team. Prior to this, Ben spent over 12 years at LA Fitness, gaining experience at director level and holding posts in risk and compliance and health and safety after joining the company as a general manager.
