PREMIERE VISION
One overriding trend was a dark side to components, encapsulating ‘a cabinet of curiosity’ with little ofeat details, maybe a furtive beetle or a fleeting butterfly, or maybe lending accessories into an exquisitely surreal world. There was a lean towards feathers, flowers and quality ribbons, with an accent on the zip or zipper.
The range of materials used was vast, from metals, wool, plastics, rubber, lacquered surfaces, leather, silk, glass, velvets, fur, etc. All in all, it was an incredibly innovative, positive and creative season.
