We received a letter from Daisy Nyamie who is the owner of Peter Forson, a hat shop in Birmingham. Daisy told us: “I have worked in the hat business for about ten years now and love reading your magazine, especially issue 71! Since the series Peaky Blinders will be coming back on our TV screens soon we thought we would let you know how much this programme has helped with sales over the last two years, especially as it is based in Birmingham. And if you are wondering about the name of our shop, Peter Forson, I decided to name it after my

great-great-uncle, who was always extremely well dressed. It is also a name that is classic and can appeal to both men and women. We stock a range of labels including quality brands: Stetson, Borsalino, Christys’, Whiteley, Maddox, Bronté, Dent & Vivienne Westwood, and are situated only 10 minutes from Birmingham’s New Street Station.”

Following our coverage of Royal Ascot in Issue 74, we have been informed that the following hats were made by these talented designers!

Left: Vintage hat from Edwina Ibbotson Middle: Maggie Mowbray Right: Philip Treacy

Whoops...

In Issue 73, in the coverage of Meet the Manufacturers, we named Chloe Haywood, as Chloe Hayward, the details of which had been taken from the official brochure of the show. Although the error was not entirely ours we suggested including a correction in this edition. The article should also have included the website: www.chloehaywoodlondon.com
